I don't think that's likely. In fact, I think "Asset Lite" is an AMD buzzword with empty promises all over it. I think Hector made it up during the last earnings conference to give analysts a distraction in time for Barcelona. But now that Barcelona is late and slow, I suspect that Hector will be back to pounding the table about the Intel monopoly, and that Wall Street should feel compelled to go easy on AMD because they are fighting for the betterment of the industry.
Just you watch.
