Remember all the talk about the Greenspan put during the 1990s bull! Well whatever the size of the put then, it is exponentially bigger now. This explains the almost total lack of fear in the market these IMHO.
Never before have we had a Fed chief who is done his utmost to foster an evironment of manic speculation like we have now. This is a first in American financial history.
