Good observation.

The first law of conventional wisdom is that it is more often wrong than right.

The second law of conventional wisdom is that the more certain it is and the more widely it is shared, the more likely it is to be wrong.

IMO, the probability is higher we further explode upward.

JB, I don't know how to interpret it , but I am seeing many that think we just explode upward here!<G>
My bet is that everyone will be wrong, maybe some combination of all scenarios.

Or we do the unmentionable and we move sideways for several months with a SLOWWWWWWWWWWW bias to the upside. This would nick both "out-of-the-money" put and call folk, as well as, "in-the-money" folk.

The shorting here is still pervasive so any SHORT-term downside risk should be contained to the 5-7% range.

I am not sure where you get this, I would read. It surely does not show up in the options market.
