mainehiker, I agree that it has been very frustrating lately. Today was the worst. Are you saying that you still can't read some boards? When the problem happened to me today (twice) I logged out and then went to the boards that I wanted to read without being logged in. I could then read all of the posts. When I logged back in the first time, it worked for a bit and then it happened again.
I did the same thing again and this time I cleared my cache which I do pretty regularly anyway and I haven't had the problem since.
I still think it's the new server. If it was me I would demand a replacement...but that's just me.
Maine, What other sites do you frequent? Do they allow you to store messages? Do searches? Have mailboxes? Private message to other posters? Create boards at will?
I would say you are getting a pretty good bang for your buck. And FWIW I have been critical in the past, but am a little more tolerant considering the alternatives.
