IMO, it's because so many were damaged so severely by this... that it's been harder for folks to just forget about. Lots of controversy. It was one of the bigger and more visible "pumps" last year, as I see it.

Very very few of the "top boards" are not scams. ATM 10 are that i know of and most of the rest i am not familiar with. AAPL is the only legit one for sure.
