Let's get real here... it doesn't matter who wrote the PR. It says to disregard previous statements from the company, and that's all we need to know. There is a lot of legal CYA, mumbo jumbo, etc, in most situations. How about we cut the bull, and see what the OSC finds out for all of us?
Good grief. FYI, lawyers do that CYA for good reason. It's so that additional liability isn't possible if the findings fall the way of wrong-doing. That's pretty much the end of that topic, no? It's barely worthy of discussion about "why" the PR was written, IMO. Reading it and taking it under advisement is what it's there for. Either heed it, or disregard it. Who cares.
