Investing 101 Reality Check

(1) You may prefer to buy at 5 year highs. I prefer to buy at 5 year lows. My timing of buys has lead to 100-2000% gains in TRDY at least 7 times so far. Buy low -- sell high.

(2) If you want no risk....consider government bonds. I want high risk because of the high reward associated with it.

(3) A buyout is always a possibility. We have no idea how many possible takers there were at all sorts of various offers. It's ridiculous to pretend you have a clue otherwise when you don't.

"AMS operated under a $75 million debtor-in-possession financing from Wells Fargo Foothill and as a result the Company continued to do business with AMS from December 29, 2006 up until March 12, 2007. On this date, AMS' wholesale distributing business and related assets were sold to Baker & Taylor, which formed Baker & Taylor Marketing Services (BTMS) to ship product to the warehouse clubs. The Company does not anticipate this change will have a negative impact on sales to this customer."

As I thought.

Reality Check

1. It's gotten them to about a 5 year low in price. I thought the objective was for the share price to rise.

2. Who wants any risk. Like they say "show me the money".

3. "Buyout Scenario"? They've been there. Done that. No takers.
