Wawh – my primary agenda in regards to this board is learning as much as I can about my investment – an investment that I would like to see grow in value over time through systematic repeated successes by cygx - not some hail Mary bailout. In addition to learning, I also try to add to that information when I can. My secondary “agenda” is to provide balance. Most often that is correcting the baseless claims or moderating some overly optimistic statements that are not supported by realty. For what it’s worth, I would be just as quick to defend the company if they were under baseless attack while hitting targets, increasing sales, and making true business progress. It would be nice if cygx could give us more results to work with in that regard.
The reason that I said the board is a reflection of the company is that believe the majority of criticism comes from shareholders like myself who would like cygx to succeed but recognize that success is more than wishful thinking. I don’t believe that the criticisms are coming from competitors because quite simply there’s no need for it. cygx has only one product and it looks like they just scaled back their own manufacturing projections by significantly reducing the minimum amount of reagents they will buy as part of the GE contract. Not exactly something a competitor would lose any sleep over. And their other products have yet to see the light of a clinical trial let alone any type of a market. I hate to say it, (I really do because I am a shareholder) but there is no reason for a competitor to “bash” the stock on this board. I’d be happy to think that someone was scared enough about what we could do to post misinformation here – but there is nothing competitively scary about delays and no shows. There may be a few personal agendas on this board but they do not make up the majority criticisms – which are leveled squarely at the measurable performance of the company and whether we like it or not, all is not well at cygx and hasn’t been for some time.
