And with the joke our gov't has made of U.S. anti-trust laws, you can count on eating lots more rate hikes in the future. This is as consumer unfriendly a business environment as I have seen in my lifetime. Next thing, Congress will further encourage this stuff with "tort reform", which is really nothing more than ensuring corporations can lower the costs of manufacturing by reducing requirements for product quality.
The whole notion of "rampant frivolous lawsuits" has to be one of the biggest con jobs in history.
