I have been told that you can call ETrade and they will place a trade directly for you on the FF or Xetra exchange. This should also give you a higher price than selling it online with your normal online account since it appears that ETrade is transfering those trades to Germany anyway.. I am not sure what the cost would be.
It would be interesting to see if this is true since people have being selling shares on ETrade all along at reduced rates when the option to call into ETrade to place a trade on FF may have been available all along.
If the phone trade does not seem to be an option then see about setting up one of their new Global Accounts.
