And thanks for the PM'd info on the set of circumstances that can result in the SYSTEM putting in the wrong userID.

Everyone, until I get this sorted out, try not to have more than one Reply To PM window open at a time. If you have multiple Reply To PM windows open at the same time AND you have Favorites or Boards open in another window and auto-refreshing, the system can change the recipient number of one of your PM's during a Favorites or Boards refresh.

If you're just using iHub in one window, nothing to worry about.

This is NOT going to be fun to fix.

The technical explanation is that the system also stores the message recipient number in a session variable, so it has access to it during entry and exit from the Preview screen. Session variables aren't visible to you. Only the system is aware of them. And if you're using multiple windows, one window can over-write the other window's session variables.

If you start to compose a reply to a PM in one window, then before you've submitted it, you open another window to reply to a different PM, the system might, depending on whether or not you use Preview on either of the messages then return to editing, or have Favorites or Boards auto-refreshing in yet another window, change the recipient number of the PM in the first window to be the recipient number that belongs to the PM in the second window.

Clear as mud? It's tough for me to explain. But the bottom line is that in a somewhat unusual/unlikely but not even remotely impossible set of circumstances, you can reply to a PM and have your reply go to the wrong person. If you're composing replies in multiple windows you have open at the same time.
