Kayne Anderson Energy Development, Lightfoot Capital Partners, and Tortoise Capital Resources announce Formation of International Resource Partners LP (KED) 25.13 +0.25 : Kayne Anderson Energy Development, Lightfoot Capital Partners, LP and Tortoise Capital Resources Corpo announced the formation of International Resource Partners LP (the "Partnership"), a non-traded limited partnership. The Partnership was formed to acquire International Resources, LLC ("IRI"), the Central Appalachian coal subsidiary of International Industries. In conjunction with the formation of the Partnership, the Co made a $30.0 mln equity investment. As part of this investment, the Co received 1.5 mln Class A Units, which represents a 28% limited partnership interest, and 10 Incentive Distribution Rights (10% of outstanding IDRs).
