The Fund's Performance in January 2004:

SUMMARY:

In the first month of this New Year, the Fund came into its own
and showed off the kind of returns that I had envisaged. With its
turbo after burners screaming, the Fund in January added on to its
already impressive lead over the S&P 500 from the previous month.
The Fund, which was ahead of the S&P 500 in December by 24.13%,
ended the month of January with an eye popping lead of 77.76%! Or,
in other words, if one had invested $20,000 in the SPYDERS (SPY) on
November 10th. 2003, (SPY closely mimics the benchmark S&P 500),
they would have picked up 190 shares @ $105.74 (the opening price of
SPY on November 10th 2003). On January 30th 2004, with the SPY
closing @ $113.48, those 190 shares would have scored for their owner
a gain of $1470.60. As opposed to a gain of $17,031.31 that the Fund
scored in that same period or more than 1000% better than an investment
in the SPYDERS. By the way, had I used a benchmark other than the
standard S&P 500, the end results would have been quite similar…
