Just because you think it does not or will not work means little in the overall picture.
If the acumen with which you attempt to deride the current concept had validity more than a simple opined statement based something else besides opinion it might have more validity. Right now, nothing more than opinion.

Well but Amergence fills a definitive need and that niche is what is being filled. Novel approach if you ask me.
Speciall if VC do not have to be used in order to secure financing and the company can thereby retain control it would certainly have had to give up going the VC route.

Lets see you or Sting explain how this new model is going to drive the PPS. Why businesses would use Amergence for these types of services to begin with. Try putting up some figures so that we can see how plausible your assumptions are.

neilbolton, I too have taken much grief here for sharing my DD on Sunncomm/Amergence/Mediamax, most of which pointed to the same conclusion as yours, and I should add, conclusions that have turned out to be VERY accurate, I would also have to agree with you now that its hard to imagine that this company, especially with its current management and "consultant" team, will suddenly be able to create or execute any real business model that would offer any real business funding service that will be able to effectively compete with all of those sources already available, lets face facts, there is more than plenty venture capital out there for startups that have solid business/marketing plans, to think that Peter and Company just suddenly found some untapped niche in the start-up capital arena is purely mistaken.
