I never shot one believe it or not. I know the FBI played with the 10 mm and had problems with the recoil spring and slide due to the powerful recoil. I believe that has all been remedied for some years now. I have not seen a terminal ballistics comparison between a .45 cal and a 10 mm. I am guessing the internal and external ballistics are comparable to a .45. I could be totally wrong though. I just dont know.
The 10mm is something I hope to own some day, I have read many, many reports and reviews on this round; all lead me to believe that the 10mm is what the.40 S&W should have been; in other words they say that the .40 S&W is nothing more than a slightly smaller, and slightly lighter 10mm.
I'd like to have one chambered in gun with a single stack magazine so that gun would fit my hand more properly.
