It may not be a simple correction of 10-15%. Could run as deep as 30-40%. Then buy. JMHO

I try to buy when the blood in the streets has slowed to a trickle. I am looking at real estate now because there are no buyers. I am starting to see signs of desperate sellers. Many are getting killed with taxes and gas bills. It is not going to be pretty and I really feel for the people that did not sell the top. They have not given up yet but some of the places I am looking at have had the property for sale for almost a year. They have been dropping the prices and still no buyers. One place that I am watching started out at 650,000 is now down to 495,000. He has not paid his taxes so he will either have to sell it or lose it.
