On balance, Investor Relations is usually the very LAST department to be informed as of what is truely going on inside a company. This is because of the drastic penalties applied from disseminating insider information.
But why would they be laughing?
It seems like a very reasonable thing to be doing. Acquire a company to RM into and quickly get to the OTCBB, while sheltering profits with a tax-loss carry forward.
Pardon me, but I just don't see the humor in this.
