Definitely. I'm guilty of that myself, I've visited sites that offer a particular product that I'm looking for and decide not to buy because the site doesn't look professional.
I believe that if in fact their gameplan was to hold the PR until the site was redone it was a smart move. Although, as must of the people on the board I wanted a PR badly :)
Now, it's just a matter of waiting for the public announcement, like you said, stating that you can buy online.
It would be great if ew would also get some type of marketing campaign information, like we will start running an ad campaign on "ABC" magazine on the upcoming months to bring attention to the product.
