Dan...I hope you can claim a large bagger in the future as well as I have a bit myself. Even a bit can turn into a very nice thing if all goes well.

Good luck,

Ben

Sur's assay practices, some comments.

While the sampling and trenching programs are designed and implemented either by Sur's president or an independent geologist, the actual assaying is usually done by an independent lab.

From their press release of August 20:

All sampling is personally undertaken by experienced technical personnel who each have more
than 15 years experience in correct sampling practices. The sampling team is supervised on site by
the Company’s Chief Geologist. All sampling practices are personally approved by Independent
Geological Consultant Mr. Ian Cooper Bsc (Hons) M.Aus.IMM and Mr Rennie Blair Msc, FAusIMM,
the President of Sur American Gold Corporation who are both qualified persons as defined by
National Policy 43-101. All final samples are assayed by McPhar Laboratories in Manila. McPhar
(Philippines), an ISO 9002 accredited laboratory.

This is not to say that every sample collected is assayed by an independent lab, but I trust the CEO, Rennie Blair, enough to say that any very important results that might be announced would have been verified by the independent lab first. Note that the press release refers to "all final samples" as having been assayed by the independent lab.
