For purposes of the continent, Montreal is the East. Pennsylvania is East too and Erie is a lot farher west than Montreal. lol.

take it easy. of course montreal is on the east coast! the coast refers to the surrounding areas of the coast, not to towns with oceanfront property lol!

montreal is very close to new york, and very popular with tourists (i'm a new yorker).
