If the U.S. were to pull out of Iraq, it would not take Amedenejhad long to control Iran, imo. Iran controlling Iraq would spell disaster for Qatar and Kutwait and possibly Saudi Arabia. This is the U.S.'s worst fear--the biggest nut case in the world controlling all of that oil. A guy who denies the Holocaust would make a great anti-Christ.

Is there a Shiite leader in Iraq who could stand up to Amedenejhad? I'm no expert on mid-East politics, but I don't see anyone on the horizon in Iraq except al-Sadr, and I don't think he could stand up to Iran. JMO.
