After click'n into the above link, its hard to see the trees with the forest in the way, so follows is the home page.
Looks like much more than a pc and tech mesage board, but lots of stuff just like Silicon Investor and iHub has here.
Plus a few neat things that BobZ and Sheriff Matt might consider to copy and do on Si & iHub. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Active Users: 87 Currently 19 members and 68 guests on the boards. If this message board is not as easy to "travel" as iHub's nor have the many and nice features as we have here, then maybe Bob & Matt can license the code or structure of iHub so that these other small message boards can remain independent, but upgrade to state-of-the-art.
For sure an act to licentiate has already been discussed between Matt & Bob in private discussions, but just maybe now that Silicon Investor is nearing the iHub'n look & feel while iHub is growing by leap'n posts and boundaries, that a plan to put the legal steps to make their IP available could be started if enough small independent boards as the above are identified by iHub and Si members that would welcome an upgrading for ease of use and growth.
I'am guessing the above mentioned message board, which I believe I saw "free" to join, uses ads to generate enough revenue to support operations. If so then Bob and Matt would also bring in their experience using ads.
Once again, once Sheriff Matt leaves his official position(s) and obtains only a member status having a seat on the board, with maybe the Chairman of the Board status, that if BobZ can gather enough other message boards under his "code," that just maybe that empty acre of land facing the land being made could be sold to this Inc. and have built building(s) to house the whole kit & kaboodle of everything needed to accomplish everything :o)
For sure the lights would never be turned off as there will be a 3 shift working environment to run things non stop Earth-wise.
Guess Bob might investigate first the procedure to do what he just did to Silicon Investor to make it work under the same code and languages as iHub's, but for example the above mentioned web message board site that may have been developed outside the USA.
There just may be hundreds or thousands of very small tiny little message board web sites that would benefit from that move into a iHub'n type look & feel.
