What's a 4000+'s specs? ;) 2.4GHz is doable on 130nm, I'd say. I don't expect a 2.8GHz-ish part until a year from now.

I don't know what the spec would be and I guess you make a point that AMD can simply call whatever they can produce a 4000+ and who's to stop them? My point was that based on history, an AMD RoadMap entry is almost a guarantee that it won't happen on schedule.

Joe, dual-channel 2.2 Ghz is 3400+, 2.4 Gzh is 3700. 4000 is just 2.6 Ghz - just a first 90 nm fruit. 2.8 Ghz in Q105 will be 4200.
