Len, is the Shanghai Composite already over the
12 year major resistance? I don't have the exact number.

Exactly 24 hours ago...

... I posted the post I'm replying to. The Shanghai Index had gone parabolic including a breakaway gap. It was a no-brainer that it was going to take a hit. Tonight it took a HUGE -6.5% hit.

As I pointed out in an earlier post, the similarities to the Shanghai bubble and the Nasdaq bubble are all too similar. http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=19521523

The above link shows the similarity on the way up. At some point (perhaps beginning with today) we will see the similarities on the way down. As per the link below, you can see that during the NASDAQ's almost 80% plunge from March, 2000 to October 2002, there were 4 times that it dropped 6.5% or more.

Of course, the major downside for me is that all six of my PSL6 stocks are Chinese. The Shanghai bubble is not directly related to any of these US traded stocks, but there is almost certainly going to be guilt by association. For that matter, even US non-China stocks will likely take some kind of a hit.
