DIC question - DIC has around a 50% mortality rate. Those patients that get DIC usually get DIC from another extreme biologic insult (trauma, sepsis, etc...), of those patients that don't die from DIC, what happens to them? Just guessing the mortality rate is very high so I am wondering if the sales estimates are very accurate?
How often would the patients get atryn. Most of these patients most likely wouldn't make it very long, or would not get treated at all because of age, or because of the severity of their medical problems that caused the DIC in the first place.
