I talked to Ameritrade yesterday and they said that it could take weeks to get the certs from the T/A and only then would they make the change in my account.

Does that sound right to you? sounded fishy to me but I'm new to the symbol change thing.

The only thing that doesn't show up is the news but this info comes through the wire so some additional tasks will be required for it to work properly. Just give it a couple of days. I've seen this occur on other name changes.
