That’s not all…

While Russia is busy ferrying our troops to Antarctica which is where I would drop them if I were Putin, Russia is also filling in for NASA.

RUSSIA WILL DELIVER all regular crews and cargo to the International Space Station next year, filling in again for NASA, the head of the Russian space agency has announced.
National Business Review, New Zealand - Dec 20, 2003

Given that Putin along with transporting our cargo and army and filling in for NASA also controls the electricity and has his finger on the light switch for a growing segment of this planet if he gets pissed we may find ourselves living a remake of ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still.’

Mrs. Barley: "There's nothing strange about Washington, Mr. Carpenter."
Klaatu: "A person from another planet might disagree with you."

"Klaatu barada nikto."

Not serious about Antarctica, although…..

Here is more on the Topol-M

12/22/03 - Moscow
Russia Deploys New, Advanced Nuclear Missiles for First Time in Years

For the first time in three years, Russia is unveiling a new batch of nuclear missiles, weapons that it calls the most advanced in the world.

Russia's news agency reports the nation is deploying six more Topol-M missiles. The weapons are capable of striking targets more than six-thousand miles away and are more difficult to intercept than their predecessors.

The last time Russia produced the missiles was three years ago. A shortage of funds prevented them from deploying any more until now.

The future of such missiles isn't clear. One scientist says the program could be in jeopardy again because its budget was cut in half.

But other Russian officials say they plan to add more mobile versions of the missile as well as variations that can carry up to ten nuclear warheads at a time.
