scooby...."it would be immoral for the FDA not to let the new drug be administered" when you post about "fast tracking", however, it would be irresponsible/immoral for the FDA to let a drug go through clinicals without tox and longterm exposure data. With that, I will say that some drugs from pharmas have been pushed through too fast. The end result are some of the lawsuits we see on TV.

Sometimes it does seem that way. One has to wonder just how important "saving" lives is compared to the MONEY these companies stand to make pushing their drugs past the FDA's
watchful eye.
Guess there are pros and cons to "fast tracking" a drug. Benefits to mankind versus the all mighty dollar for the
the companies and ultimately the stockholders....
Just had to rant my cynicism in the "system". Been in the business for a few years and have seen some pretty amazing
stuff from the FDA at times.
Makes me wonder baby...... as David Bromberg would say.
