DNDN It was mainly marketing staff laid off. They obviously don't need them until Provenge gets marketing approval which won't be until 2009 or later.

I think the comment about them staying in Seattle implied that since these people already know a lot about Provenge, they would be the perfect people for DNDN to rehire when Provenge gets approved.
I don't think it means they felt they would suffer from caffeine withdrawal and homesickness if they moved elsewhere.
(Although, yes, I have met people who thought Seattle is the place to be.)
