#1162 RE: Chris B #1160

Chris B,

I can tell you that there is a product that accepts transactions. I can tell you that NDFC and iMethods are impressive. I can tell you that NDFC knows what it is doing. I can also tell you that Mark Hatfield has no reticence to question Tom's statements.

Someone asked Tom when the first 1,000 people should expect their free cashpad. Tom started to say that they should get them by November 15. Hatfield caught Tom's attention, interrupted, was given the mike and stated (since NDFC will be sending them) that NDFC planned to start sending them on the 15th.

Hatfield then assured people that they should have the free cashpads within 30 days.

Tom can still goof up this company. But, if he listens to the guys from NDFC (especially) and the guys from iMethods, we all stand a chance of seeing something good come from this. It's no sure-fire, dead-bang winner. However, the product will reach the marketplace (Comdex is the start).

As for Comdex, pictures of the booth were displayed. It's not the most imposing exhibit I've ever seen, but it should suffice. Free passes to Comdex were passed out at the meeting. I am convinced ECNC will be there. At Comdex. people will be able to make swipe transactions to Artaste. There was a hint that other (small) merchants will also be accessible at Comdex.

One thing I forgot to put in my post to EC100 that I disliked. Tom several times asked shareholders to find merchants. I do not think he means eBay or Amazon. I think he means small brick and mortar local or regional merchants. That seems to be what Perfect Club is about. I would rather have ECNC find the merchants (even the small ones) by themselves.

As for Tom telling me the price would go up, I wasn't born yesterday. What else should I expect him to say? I was surprised that he didn't back off when I mentioned I had been one of his biggest critics. That's the only reason I posted about meeting him in response to EC100's question. ... eom
