You can save a lot of money if you travel on 1-1. Round trip air from Miami to GCM 1-1 to 1-8 is $340 each. It is an hour and a half flight. $500ish from Atlanta -- 2 1/2 hours.
From Tallahase, around $475 but it turns into a five to six hour trip because of the layovers in Miami or Charolette. US Air, Delta, and United fly form Tallahase though either Miami or Charloette -- some connect with American in Miami.
American or Cayman Air are the best ways to go but you have to get to Miami or Atlanta some other way.
You could probably get a package for around $1100-$1300 per person. You may be able to get a room on your own for less than many packages.
