Steve, I notice that the same thing happened last year in Nov/Dec - really low volume for weeks and weeks. Finally to pick up in January.

The normal market dynamics between buyers and sellers seem skewed as a result.

I second the notion for a decent sized up day so that I may extract myself.

sox finally cranking today. if the semi sector fund can eke out another 1% gain from current levels it will be enough to extricate for breakeven on trade.

looks like switching the short position to spx from ndx was a sweet move as ndx up way more today.
