I think you are reading WAY too much into it. If you read the article it simply restates the PR from earlier in the week. As a local newspaper I'm sure they received the PR when it was released earlier and ran it in today's paper. Not sure what there is to add up?

Bluebird, its pretty obvious the reporter didn't interpret the PR right, imo. The reporter says in the first sentence of the article that their was a purchase...then you read the actuall news release it says LOI...the purchase will take place in two weeks.
So the reporter, obviously, but IMO, made a mistake because its right there in the press release that follows the first sentence. No mystery just a misread, apparently on the reporters part as I see it.
