That will be a good first step towards much needed reform in this market. It will motivate companies to get current with their filings so they don't get a STOP sign icon, or the Skull and Cross bones.
It will be interesting to see how this goes over with traders. Using this rating system should certainly sway people away from companies that don't or won't comply with guidelines. At the same time, companies that do comply and get a higher rated icon will be more attractive stocks for people to pursue.
I am happy to see this being implemented, I just hope that they stick to their guns and enforce it. We have seen far too many times where the powers that be will allow these companies some wiggle room or adopt some Grandfathered clause or something like that. Lets hope this works!!
