I remember that fight. Lee Tex Cobb was his name???? Anyway, the beating was absolutly horrific, yet Cobb would not go down. Howard Cosell was the covering the fight and when it was done, refused to ever cover another boxing match as he was horrified that the ring officials did not stop it. It was also Cobb's last fight if my memory serves me correctly.
