yup thats possible..thats why i held my shorts for so long, stupid me though, due to large long positions in something thats being attacked, i felt compelled to reduce some shorts friday to keep myself outta trouble overall..now, i do want to reenter those shorts at some point, maybe soon..

Sure, they've known of the possibility of a big rally on capture of one of the bad guys. They've also known of the possibility of a HUGE drop if there is very bad news, such as a really serious terrorist event, or an assassination.

Being a hedger myself, I've been more concerned about the bad news than about the good news. Looks like, for the moment, my concerns were misplaced...
