Nobody is accusing you of anything. These things happen period. All I am asking is that you notify Geocities of the problem so they can work on it for you.
I tried to recreate my actions last night when that pop-up appeared. it is about 3 X 4 inches and sort of a royal blue in background color--it states on top that it is connected with Microsoft (can't remember the exact wording) but Bruce I think did describe it very well. I did not open it, just clicked on the X in the top right hand corner to get rid of it.
