IMO i think they are trying to pull together as much funds as possible with the onslaught from the lawsuit impending on them, with all the red flags that have been sent up on stocks that the Briners have been affiliated with i would pass this off as another smokescreen to put a few extra dollars toward their piggy bank fund for after the lawsuit bust.
