I guess there will always be people who piss & moan about their circumstances. The only reason we would consider moving would be, as has already been mentioned, the snow.
To mix your metaphor with the snow, that reminds me of the saying: those who claim not to want to get into a pissing match are usually already standing in yellow snow.
Churack. Interesting on the tax system. We have different levels here depending on if your state has a sales tax or not. That's why a lot of people in Washington either go to Canada for the exchange rate or Oregon to not pay the sales tax we have here for big items or Christmas shopping. I know of some people who go to Oregon every year to Christmas shop. They say with the sales tax they save it pays for their way down there and make a mini vacation out of it. I have only been in a few parts of Canada to go fishing and mineral collecting and found the people to be less stressed than us imo. When I read the article it sounded a tad bitter. LOL! Have heard some bad things about your health care. Of course a huge percentage of people here have no insurance at all due to costs that are out of control.
