May 1 (Reuters) - Biopharmaceutical company Vical Inc. (VICL.O: Quote, Profile , Research) said it won a final decision upholding its Japanese patent covering its core DNA delivery technology.
An intellectual property high court in Japan confirmed that the parties which had originally challenged the patent did not appeal the court's prior ruling by the deadline, the company said in a statement. (Reporting by John Tilak in Bangalore)
