I'd take another look at AMD's mobile plans for 2004. Already AMD sells the best solution for desktop replacements (A64). There is a 130nm mobile Athlon64 coming in H1, and some 90nm mobiles coming in second half. Dothan will be swamped in a sea of higher performing low power competition well before this time next year.

Show me where a 1.7 GHz Banias chip is shown to be faster than an XP-M 2500+ LV, a 1.25v chip? Note of the reviews ever compared them to anything faster than a 1700+.
