poster, I need to re-read the Accel Energy website M & A news item again later tonight. I think they are working on a Merger with investment bankers rather than a joint venture. I believe Accel Energy and/or AAPU are currently in a joint venture with someone on the oil shale extracting operation and also the refinery owners where they work from. Correct me if I'm wrong. It would not make sense IMO for Accel Energy/AAPM to be in a joint venture between themselves when they are basically one in the same company from an operational and management standpoint.
The only difference I see in the two companies is that AAPM is a U.S. based corporation with the PATENT with The Chrico Group assets and Accel Energy is Swiss based and trades on the German stock exchanges.
