welittlegreen, in normal cases I would agree with you for the need to hear something for companies not in the middle of something big. If you read carefully the Accel Energy website, you will note they are right now smack in the middle of at least one M & A deal that involves the use of investment bankers. Obviously, the company can't say anything about the present condition of the company "if" we are about to be merged. The split IMO which dropped the share count down right now is an intrigal part for that merger to happen. I believe that was the plan all along, hence, not beefing up the website, lots of PRs, etc. All IMO.
