janet, at this point intime, giving up your shares would not have you erased form the lawsuit. Just look at the summons again and remember where Megas got the names from. He is accussing us of illegal activity involving certificates, but using the NOBO showing shares held electronically!!!!
Now, what happens if yo just dump your shares now and send a response to the judge that you gave away your shares? Well, the judge would most likely look at that and ask, what about the allegations? Attemtping to prove your innocence has nothing to do with if you cvurrently have your shares or not at this point. So, those who dump their shares, will still have to answer and figth the claims that they were involved in the fraudulent transfer of certs, but would have no shares left if the suit is dismissed and BCIT does in fact start trading again.
Of course, it has been burning in the back of my mind since getting the summons that he is suing us using the wrong list for the accusations he is making. IMHO, if he tries to take us to court and the judge somehow lets him do this even to the shareholders that have clearly shown they had no involvement with certs, he is doing it for a reason. I would bet on settlement offers that the suit will be dropped if you return your shares to the company if it gets there. If this happens, we will need to band together and fight him as a united front.
