Bush needs China to keep buying T-Bills and bonds. Also to cooperate on the NK situation. Also help him out on trade a little. China is calling in a chit.
If Clinton had said something like that, the Republicans would have screamed bloody murder and treason. Impeachment wouldn't have been good enough for him. Let's see what the right wing nuts do with Bush.
