I don't think it's as simple as that. If the only risk presented before the brokers was that of a lawsuit which was going to last several years, in effect crippling BCIT further (in terms of time), they would no doubt choose to push events in that direction. It would buy them time, in the hopes that Megas would simply get tired and go away, which is what they'd been hoping all along here. No, I think it's a bit more complex than that. Uncharted territory here, as far as I'm aware.
