Machine Tool demand down, pick up in manufacturing - yea right!

WASHINGTON, Dec 7 (Reuters) - U.S. machine tool demand in October fell nearly 9 percent from the same month a year ago, but manufacturers were optimistic the slump in tool consumption may be nearing an end, two industry trade groups said in a joint report on Sunday.
