There are enough good US companies where I can find solid financial information on. I have bad experience with "foreign" accounting standards (remember AREM and its unique Indian/ Cypriot/Greek accounting standards? it cost me 2% of my port few years back). A young capitalistic system like China will be a hot bed of fraudulent accounting and we may not see the details of possible malfeasance for years to come. BEWARE.
