Shad... with todays price of gold, you wouldn't need to work that hard. Although, I think precious metals are over speculated at this time and will correct. Just find a nice river midway down a mountain and get yourself a little innertube vaccuum sluice and a second innertube to float your beers and have fun. The trick will be finding a placer area. It could be wet or dry as long as there is history of water run off.
