Don't be an idiot,I'm not defending Imus for what was said,he was wrong,what he said was inexcusable.I knew it the moment I heard it,I said to myself,"oh shit,this is going to be trouble,what an idiot".Me being 57 and you 38 is totally unrelated to Imus,and btw,I'm not defending him,I do find him offensive,I just don't think he deserves what happened,we need to have Imus on the air,and more like him.We need controversial talk radio,we need free speech regardless of who it offends,we have a choice to listen or not,the ratings will decide who lives.The internet has the place for those that have no ratings,and ultimately,the internet will be the final arbiter,not now,but soon.
